A introduces me to Spartacus (the TV series) recently, and although all I wanted to do last night was sleep, I reluctantly started watching the first episode. WOW!!! So much of blood and fighting! Love it! The first episode basically tells of how Spartacus waas captured by the Romans, how they took his wife as a slave and how he conquered four opponents at once in the gladiator arena, thereby having his own life spared.
Spartacus has an amazing body! Several scenes where he's shown making love to his wife, with no concern over showing nudity in this series. He's built like a true gladiator, rock hard muscles all over, and damn, a cute butt!
The reason why I am blogging about this, is because it had a strange effect on me afterwards... Soon after the first episode, I switched off the tv and went to sleep. I had a restless couple of hours of sleep, often waking up and thinking about how it would be to live in those times. I also dreamt about sleeping next to someone and cuddling up to them, feeling my hardon press into their butt cheeks, and then waking up to realise I am alone. Somewhere during the night I lost my underrwear, only to wake up in the morning and find them lying next to the bed, me naked. Strange night...
I eventually got up because I am working again today, but felt as if I had not slept at all. I'll have to go shop for the necessities after work today, but my bed is calling me!
In other news, I have been voted in as the Secretary (and second vice president) for the new fiscal year of the Lions club of Midrand. Never even imagined that I would be on the board so quickly, but it is a good new challenge and for a good cause.
Work has been unbelievably busy. This last week was probably the busiest week of our year, and it definitely lived up to its reputation - part of the reason why I am so tired!
Looking forward to our holiday that is coming up in less than a month. A and A and I are going to Cape Town for the week before and including Easter weekend. Going to be tons of fun!!!
