Long time no blog! Sorry about that my dear followers, I've been rather busy lately, and so much has happened!!!
Let's start from a while ago, actually, almost a month to be exact. I went for my USA visa in June, and got it, no sweat, thanks to the letter from Disney Cruise Line.
Three (work) days later, got my passport back with the visa in. YAY!!! All I need now is a plane ticket to Orlando... but more about that later...
Then, of course, there was the world cup. Damn, did we have fun!?! The atmosphere at the stadia, the fan parks and the country as a whole was just fantastic! I watched more soccer (or football as some people may refer to it) in that first weekend of the world cup than what I have watched my entire life! I was frustrated tremendously with the fact that there were some terrible decisions made by referees right from the group stages up to (and including) the final, so not sure whether I would really call myself a soccer fan (until they introduce third referees or video referencing). I think it's time FIFA caught a wake up, what do you think?
I have to say, I am glad the world cup is over now. It just gets too much at a stage, and it was badly interfering with my sleeping pattern :)
So, I heard nothing for ages about the Australia jobs that I applied for, and then, unexpectedly, our MD chatted to me one day, and said if I am really interested in going to Aus, he can put in a word for me at our sister company there.
After taking some time to think about it, I went to go speak to him, and told him that I really was interested. He then got the ball on the roll, and emailed them that side. It turns out our timing was perfect. They have a vacancy at their Melbourne office for a similar position as what I am in at the moment!
So, I sent my CV and applied for the position. Today I got notification that they are interested in having an interview with me on Monday morning! YAY!!!! It will be a video conference interview, but the nerves are wrecked nevertheless. Please hold thumbs that it goes well ;)
I will have more details after the interview, and I will keep you updated, but it seems as though if things are going to happen, they will happen rather quickly! *scary*
With that in mind, I am a little unsure. I have two options:
1. I tell them that I have travel plans to go to America in October (at the risk of them getting upset and not considering me for the position)
2. I postpone my trip...
Advise in the form of comments would be greatly appreciated ;) What do you think I should do?
well, that is what I have to tell for now. In terms of the love and/or sex life, nothing much happened the last while, so nothing really to tell.... Hope that will change soon, I am horny as hell!
Cheers for now!
