I was wondering, do you believe in Karma? Give me your comments...

So there I am, minding my business, driving onto the onramp going onto the highway, delighted that the traffic, for the second evening in a row, looks quite decent, and I should be making it home in good time. OK, take the curve left into the onramp, white corsa standing in the emergency lane with the hazards on. Cute young white guy standing next to the car, waving for assistance. What do I do, I stop, naturally. Well, actually not so naturally, because this is South Africa after all.

The guy briefly explains that he had run out of fuel, he had another guy that was already assisting him, who was on his way with a small can of fuel, but this guy had lost his wallet somewhere during the day, and didn't have cash for enough fuel to get home.

My first reaction was "bullshit story", but then, without even thinking about it, I gave him the R100 note I had in my wallet, and left it at that. The guy took my number and name, and promised that he would contact me so that he could pay it back to me.

OK, that was what happened. Now, my after thoughts:
1. I would never receive that phone call.
2. It probably was a bullshit story, and he probably made a couple of bucks with this scam.
3. He probably had a full tank of fuel, and I could have rather offered to drive with him to the petrol station, and see that he fills up. So he probably aint spending the cash on fuel, but rather on booze or drugs or what ever floats his boat.


You know what, I actually don't care. I thought to myself, he said he needed money, I believed him, and gave him the money. Perhaps his intentions were pure. Perhaps it is time to start believing in the good in humans again.

We have been conditioned by society that every such story is based on lies and deceipt. We have been taught by our seniors that we shouldn't trust people, that we should be careful, and not talk to strangers.

I might be naieve and ignorant, but you know what, I did something good today. And I believe one should do good to others, and good will come to you. Karma.

Who knows, he might actually phone me back one day, and who knows what that may lead to.... *evil grin*

OK, enough about that, now time for the EXCITING NEWS!!!!

I am finally getting everything in place to go to AMERICA! I have been wanting to go for years, and even in my blog profile, you can see that this has been a life long dream. Well, it is finally happening!

I filled out my visa application last night, after my cousin prompted me again to do it urgently, since he had plans for me to go over. That set things in motion. Several things actually. Firstly it got me to get the ball rolling in getting the paperwork sorted. I collected my Passport the weekend, so had no excuse anymore.

Apart from that it prompted an excitement inside me that I have not felt for years! Like a kid on christmas eve, that's how I am feeling!

My appointment for the Visa interview is on 18 June, and I have already gotten approval to take leave that day.

I have a lot of the paperwork ready, but still have a few things to get in order. Oh, and then there is the R1000 odd that I have to pay for the interview... Well, just have to do it if I want to go anywhere.

The plan is to sail with my cousin at the end of September, spend a week with him and his fiancee in Orlando, and then fly back with him. He has to be in South Africa then, because he will be best man at my brother's wedding! So that's what we're aiming for.

On the sexual front, it has been completely dead! I honestly cannot remember when last I fucked someone, and am beginning to feel like a virgin all over again. Oh well, it will happen when it must happen.

In the meantime I'll just enjoy the porn and the wanking, and of course, Eddie's HOT blog! Damn, that boy can tell an experience in so much detail, it feels like you are there, making it nearly impossible not to have a wank and blow a fat load!

Well, enough babbling from me for now, suppose I have to go make some dinner and then head off to bed.

Going to be a tight couple of months ahead if I want to save up some spending money for the US trip!
